Rick is a serial entrepreneur and has built multiple successful businesses. He has built five technology disruptors in fintech and telecoms, and founded Tandem in 2013. Ricky co-founded GSM systems (a global mobile telephony network services provider), Small World Financial (a global money transfer business with over £4bn of transfers) as well as Azimo, the leading pan-European European digital remittance player.
Ricky is also Managing Partner at Hexagon Partners, a specialist private equity firm which invests in financial technology.
He has an MBA from INSEAD
David leads the ODI’s commercial, business development and marketing activities.
His 20 years in data-driven insight and marketing have seen him work with many leading brands in multiple sectors and countries. In addition to working for some of the largest players in the data world such as Experian, Callcredit and Telefonica, David also ran his own boutique data insight business, Thinkdata, for 5 years before its acquisition by Bertelsmann.
David’s work is characterised by passion, pragmatism and a fierce determination to deliver measurable value to clients. He also loves to challenge the status quo in order to find better ways of doing stuff.
Originally a classically trained musician, David has a Masters from Cambridge and an MBA in Marketing. Ever the optimist, he continues to hold a season ticket at Nottingham Forest.
Christian is a payments regulation expert at Lloyds Banking Group leading a team within Global Payments that is responsible for engaging with external stakeholders including regulators covering ‘payments’ as well horizon scanning and leading on new regulations and trends. He is also currently the Product Owner for Payments within the PSD2 Open Banking programme and is a member of a number of industry working groups covering Open Banking. He sits on the board of FPS as Alternate Director.
In previous roles, Christian headed up the banking teams within LBG’s High-Net-Worth Private Banking division as well as working in the International Private Banking. He was based in Jersey, the Isle of Man and Los Angeles for a number of years with responsibility for North America for the Lloyds TSB Offshore business.
Christian is a mentor at the School for Social Entrepreneurs and is Vice Chair of the Governing Body as well as Chair of the Finance Committee at a school in Bermondsey.
Faith is an independent consumer finance expert. She is a member of the Financial Services Consumer Panel where she chairs the EU Working Group and is the lead for technology and innovation. She is also a member of the Payments Strategy Forum and acts as the Customer Representative on the Open Banking Implementation Entity Steering Committee. Faith recently authored the report, ‘Open Banking: A Consumer Perspective’.
Previously, Faith has been a member of ESMA’s Financial Innovation Standing Committee Consultative Working Group, as well as CILEX’s Strategic Risk Committee. Between 2010-2012 Faith pursued the Clore Social Leadership Programme, undertaking research into Big Society while based at the Institute for Government and more recently helped the Institute look at how it creates impact.
Faith was a member of HM Treasury’s Financial Inclusion Taskforce, advising Government on its financial inclusion strategy. She led the development of Toynbee Hall’s financial inclusion work, setting up Services Against Financial Exclusion in 2002 and Transact (a cross-sector membership body) in 2004.
Gavin Littlejohn is a fintech entrepreneur with experience of developing innovative solutions to mass market problems.
Gavin was appointed as Convenor of the Fintech Stakeholder Group of the UK Open Banking Implementation Entity in October 2016. He serves as a Director and Non-Executive Chairman of the Financial Data and Technology Association www.fdata.org.uk where he successfully led the campaign to have account aggregation added to PSD2.
Gavin is well-renowned as the Founder of Money Dashboard, and acted as its CEO until July 2015.
