    Dr Solomon Osagie

Chief Legal Counsel

Dr Solomon Osagie manages the legal team at TSYS International. A leading General Counsel ranked in the FT top 25 GC rankings, he was named in the Hot Lawyer rankings for 2016 and also received a nomination at the UK Diversity Awards. Solomon has a post graduate degree in law from Cambridge as well as an MBA. He also obtained his Doctorate in 2005.
With a number of citations including lawyer of the year, General Counsel of the Year and Innovative GC, he is acknowledged as an expert in consumer finance, banking and regulatory services.
Dr Osagie was a partner in private practice and then held senior roles in Industry. Before his appointment at TSYS International, he was Global Switch Group General Counsel until 2007.
Solomon was appointed to the Law Society’s Company Law Committee in 2011 and sits on several advisory boards including Acritas, GOAL, The Lawyer Financial Services Forum and the Brussels GC Advisory Board. In 2014, he was invited to join the Westminster Policy Forum on Legal Education and Training in the UK.

Having begun his career with a City law firm David held front office structuring positions at a number of international investment banks prior to joining Schroders.

Jenifer is General Counsel at the international money transfer platform, TransferWise, helping to change the face of the financial services industry.

Prior to TransferWise, Jenifer was General Counsel and Chief of Staff at Mind Candy, the children’s digital entertainment company.  Jenifer has extensive experience with high-growth tech companies, including leadership roles at Zynga and Yahoo!.  She started her career as a City lawyer in London, focused on transactional and IP work in the tech sector.

Jenifer appears in the 2017 GC Legal 500 Powerlist and was shortlisted for the 2015 FT Innovative Lawyers award.  She is a mother of 2 boys and a founding member of www.allrisesaynotocyberabuse.com, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to combating cyber abuse.

Before joining Aviva Investors (via Friends Life) he was a Senior Associate in the financial regulatory team at Hogan Lovells.

Andrea Brancatelli, is currently based in Rome and responsible for all legal matters of MoneyGram within Southern Europe, which includes 19 countries.
Previously Andrea Brancatelli worked in General Electric, in Milan, where he acted as Senior Legal Counsel for the “Capital” division of GE. His first in-house experience was in 2009, when he entered LSE-Borsa Italiana S.p.A. to follow the integration with London Stock Exchange Group.

Andrea Brancatelli holds a Law Degree from the University of Rome, is admitted to Bar since 2006 and is author of various publications on fintech and international law. Andrea appears in the 2017 GC Legal 500 Powerlist and was shortlisted for the 2014 “Emerging In-house Counsel” by Top Legal.

Michael also advises his business on regulated funds solutions in the pensions space, predominately Irish Qualifying Investor Alternative Investment Funds. Prior to his 4 years at LGIM Michael was in private practice in a well-regarded investment funds team at a City law firm. Michael trained at one of Scotland’s leading law firms and is a Graduate of the University of Glasgow where he obtained a first class honours degree in law.

Rose Sinclair is former Head of Legal Services at the Simplyhealth Group.

Following graduation Rose started her career as a newspaper journalist but changed course when she moved to the Law Society, later the Legal Aid Board, where a long and varied career in a number of locations followed, culminating in becoming Area Manager for the South-West Legal Aid area.

She then re-qualified as a solicitor, moving in-house to use her managerial and business skills and experience alongside her legal expertise. Rose was General Counsel and Compliance Officer at health insurer, WPA in Taunton; General Counsel at Computershare Investor Services Plc before joining the Simplyhealth Group, now working for Mapfre Assistencia a global insurance, reinsurance and services company as General Counsel UK, Rose has a broad spectrum of personal experiences to draw from and extensive experience during her in-house career.

Kumar has substantial in-house experience of advising financial institutions, (senior/mezzanine lenders), and of working with debt/equity capital providers on complex, cross-border leveraged finance, M&A and real estate transactions. He has also lectured internationally on banking and project finance principles in emerging markets.

Dr Miranda Brawn has a background as an investment banker and barrister having been one of the first women of colour on the trading floor in the 1990s. Miranda is a senior business, legal and diversity executive. Her day job is to manage the legal risk for derivatives and regulations across Europe at Daiwa. Throughout her career, she has negotiated deals and legal contracts exceeding £5 trillion pounds.
Outside of her day job, she is the Founder and CEO of The Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation blazing a trail for the next generation. Her Foundation made UK history by launching the first race diversity lecture aimed at schoolchildren. Miranda has been named as one of the UK’s leading diversity champions where recent press has called Miranda the go-to person for race diversity in the Square Mile. She is a regular business and diversity expert on television and radio
